Dr. Cook attended Indiana State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry in 1996. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with High Distinction from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2000. He continued his education at the University of Tennessee College Of Dentistry where he earned his Master of Dental Science degree and specialty certificate in orthodontics in 2003. During his final year of residency, Dr. Cook served as Chief Resident for the Department of Orthodontics.
Dr. Cook has completed all testing phases of the American Board of Orthodontics examination process and is board certified in the specialty of orthodontics. He stays abreast of the latest advances in orthodontics with memberships in many professional organizations including the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, American Association of Orthodontists, Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, Indiana Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, First District Dental Society of Indiana and Omicron Kappa Upsilon. His post-doctoral master's thesis was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Cook is involved in the Newburgh and Evansville communities by sponsoring youth summer sports teams as well as various school sports and other extra-curricular activity groups. Community involvement is an important aspect of his practice.
Dr. Cook has practiced orthodontics in Evansville since 2003, when he opened Cook Orthodontics, P.C. Outside of the office, Dr. Cook enjoys spending time with his wife, Robin, and his son, Carson. He also enjoys traveling with his family, exercising, reading, and occasionally chasing a little white ball around a golf course.
